The Grant Wood Human Resources system is designed to provide complete support for HR departments' record-keeping needs. Modules include demographics, health, education, certification, job history, evaluation, and training. Data can be extracted for budgeting and payroll. This system is free to schools within AEA 10. Payroll and Financial Accounting

The Grant Wood Payroll and Grant Wood Finance systems are web-based, comprehensive, user-friendly, flexible and specifically designed for the K-12 school districts in Iowa.

The Grant Wood Finance system includes General Ledger, Purchase Order, Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, Check Reconciliation, Budgeting and Fixed Asset modules. The Grant Wood Finance system follows fiscal-year oriented fund accounting principles to comply with federal and state reporting requirements.

The Grant Wood Payroll system includes an Employee Self-Service module for increased efficiency in delivering and collecting payroll and leave data with employees. The Payroll system assists clients with the increased payroll complexity dictated by federal and state laws for paying, tracking and reporting requirements.

Student Records through PowerSchool

Schools may purchase Pearson PowerSchool Student System at a discount while receiving training and support from Grant Wood AEA staff. PowerSchool provides Districts with a comprehensive K-12 web based student system designed to not only meet district reporting needs, but increase communication between school and home. Networking

Grant Wood AEA offers many Internet hosting and network consulting services. These include web site hosting, staff e-mail accounts, DNS management and content filtering services. Schools and districts can get Internet service from Grant Wood AEA using a variety of connection methods including ICN Ethernet, point-to-point telecommunications and LAN-to-LAN VPN tunnels.
