Grant Wood AEA purchases a variety of digital resources to support teaching and learning. These videos, images, books, activities and more are provided to our accredited public and non-public Pre-K—12 schools and can be accessed by students and educators at home or school.

Advanced Placement Source (9th-12th grade) Covering a wide array of subject areas from the arts and multicultural studies to STEM subjects, Advanced Placement Source offers students the essential research materials to achieve academic success in honors, A P or I B programs.
American History in Video (K-12th grade) Collection of hundreds of documentaries featuring dramatic reenactments and engaging analysis from prominent scholars and experts. AP Newsroom (Pre K - 12th grade) Over 9 million primary-source photographs, sound bites, maps, charts, timelines and text news stories from the Associated Press.
Book Flix (Pre K - 3rd grade) 120 animated stories paired with non-fiction ebooks on a similar subject for young learners to practice literacy skills. Britannica Image Quest (K-12th grade) Over 3 million images for educational non-commercial use for assignments, projects and lesson plans
Britannica School (K-12th grade) Encyclopedia articles, multimedia, primary sources and more that support student research and reinforce curriculum standards. Citizen Math (6th - 12th grade) Citizen Math aligns every lesson to the Common Core State Standards. Lessons explore the math behind real-world topics.
Core Concepts Science (7th-12th grade) Videos, digital interactive activities and experiments exploring chemistry, biology and the periodic table. Culture Grams (K-12th grade) Reference for concise, reliable, up to date cultural information on countries across the globe.
Cyber Smarts (3rd - 6th grade) Cyber Smarts offers users a safe, simulated internet experience related to online safety. Defined Learning (K-12th grade) Defined Learning provides real-world relevance and application through a personalized experience for each student.

Freedom Flix (4th - 12th grade) Collection of videos that provide an interactive, behind the scenes look at the people, places and events that have shaped our world. Gale (K - 12th grade) Educational, peer-reviewed research articles, journals and newspapers for research.
Gale in context, high school. (9th - 12th grade) Reference content such as biographies, primary resources, multimedia, critical essays, news and academic articles. Sounds abound (K-12th grade) 25 volumes of royalty free music with audio themes and sound effects for presentations, digital storytelling, TV broadcasts, web design and more. Teaching Books (K-12) collection of interviews with authors and illustrators so students and educators are able to learn directly from them to personalize their connections to the text.
Teen Cyber Smarts (7th-12th grade) staying safe online offers interactive eBooks along with learning simulations that give teens experience in navigating safely online.
