Banned Books Week celebrates intellectual freedom and the freedom to read. It’s hosted each September, by the American Library Association’s Office of Intellectual Freedom, and will be held September 18-24, 2022. Grant Wood AEA’s Media Library has materials to support students, teachers and librarians who are interested in learning more about intellectual freedom and book challenges. The Grant Wood AEA Media Library strives to have materials and resources that support diverse learners’ interests and informational needs.
