During School Library Month, make sure to thank your school or district librarian and your school library staff for all the support they provide teachers and students. Often the school librarian’s work is behind the scenes as they gather resources for upcoming units, help students find just the right book, provide help with passwords, and connect the dots between standards, resources, and effective use of technology. They are also champions for students as they work tirelessly to provide books for every child. Cheers to school libraries and librarians!
Other library-related celebrations in April include:
- International Children’s Book Day - April 2
- Library Week - April 7-13
