Upcoming Substitute Authorization Classes - Substitute Teaching in Iowa

Substitute teaching in Iowa is a fulfilling and flexible career opportunity! This course is designed to meet the requirements for substitute authorization, addressing the four components required by the Board of Educational Examiners including classroom management, diversity, ethics, and strategies for learning. Upon successful completion of the program the participant may apply to the Board of Educational Examiners for authorization to substitute teach.
